1. CULTURAL MEANING OF DRUG ABUSE:

ប្រើថ្នាំហួសវេជ្ជបណ្ឌិតបញ្ជា To overdose

ប្រើថ្នាំសាកល្បង To try drugs

ប្រើថ្នាំញៀញតាមគេ ​To use drugs with friend

ញៀញកញ្ឆា To be addicted to marijuana

ញៀញអាភៀន To be addicted to opium

ញៀញបារី To be addicted to cigarettes

ញៀញការហ្វេអីន To addicted to caffeine

ប្រើថ្នាំញៀនបញ្ឈឺចិត្ត To use drugs to hurt someone’s feelings

2. CULTURAL SPECIFIC SYMPTOMS:

កាចឃោរឃៅ To be vicious, mean, cruel

ស្រមៃ To have a slight hallucination

អណ្តែតអណ្តូង ​​ To be nostalgic, floating’s feeling

សប្បាយចិត្ត To be happy

សន្លប់បាត់ស្មារតី To be unconscious

3. DISABILITY:

4. COMMUNITY SUPPORT:

អប់រំណែនាំ To educate

ជួយគាំទ្រ នឹងបញ្ជូនទៅមន្ទីពេទ្យដើម្បីព្យាបាល To support and refer to the hospital for treatment

អន្តរាគមន៏ពីសហគមន៏ឲ្យបន្ថយគ្រឿងញៀន To intervene in the community to decrease drug

បង្ហាញហេតុផលពីកុសលនឹងអកុសល To explain about good deeds and bad deeds  of Buddhism (Sin)
